Outcome
First six months (January 2018 to July 2018) implementation reports from all regions in Mainland Tanzania consolidated and presented to RCs/RAS meeting organized by PO-RALG on 28 August 2018 in Dodoma.
Advancement on nutrition in Tanzania - PO-RALG letting nutrition out of the box -Non-nutritionists (Regional Commissioners and Regional administrative Secretaries) appreciating nutrition as a developmental agenda, owning it as among their core business and supervising implementation and reporting of nutrition services in their respective regions, councils and communities.

Prime Minister Office pledged to strengthen coordination of nutrition stakeholders in the country. The Office further emphasized that if nutrition issues are not considered seriously, our population may not compete favorably in labor market in East Africa and SADC region that expected to be liberalized soon.
